F Minus 1 (automatonvx) Mac OS

What a Safe Mode does when starting up > Safe Mode

Try deleting startup items in Safe Mode.

1 point 2 days ago I must say that this is one of the features that I miss most coming from Windows 10. Doesn’t matter if I disconnect my monitors and swap the connectors around physically, Windows knows how they should be arranged. @Knots23 I had similar issues with connection dropping during the remote build (ie from PC vs2019 16.3.7) after. Upgrading OS to Catalina keeping existing Xcode and VS; and then manually upgrading from Xcode 10.x - (ie via downloading from appl dev site, extracting and moving to Apps) to Xcode 11.2 and then installing xcode command line tools on the mac.

Open System Preferences > Users & Groups > Login Items

Select items one at a time then click - (minus)

Then open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder

Type or copy paste the following:

F Minus 1 (automatonvx) Mac OS

/Library/StartupItems

Click Go then move anything you see in the StartupItems folder to the Trash.

Now click Restart from the Apple () menu top left in your screen.

If it still won't boot normally, see if you can access OS X Recovery.

F Minus 1 (automatonvx) Mac Os Update

Turn the Mac off. Wait about ten seconds then press the power button and the Command + R keys simulataneously. Let go of the keys when you see the spinning progress indicator. If that works as it should, you can access the built in utilities in OS X Recovery to repair the startup disk.
